revise2 is better than all of the competition. With proof.

revise5. Bigger, better and badder than ever before.

The team has been working on revise5 for 3 months now, every day and every night. We brought huge changes, some on the inside, some on the outside.

The AI takes the biggest improvement, in all aspects. It's more accurate, is quicker, and it's training data is bigger. Generating questions can now come with images, diagrams and graphs. We benchmarked it too, and against the tested subjects and the June 2026 GCSE papers, we saw a 91.2% match. What that means is, 91.2% of the questions on those GCSE papers, were generated to a degree of high similarity by revise2's new AI. Serious stuff. We tested the leading revision site, which came in at 30.2% accuracy. We tested some of the frontier, latest and greatest, state of the art models too.

Model Accuracy to 2026 GCSE Papers (Percentage)
revise5 Generate 91.2
revise4 Generate 81.4
GPT-6 Astra Max 66.6
Gemini 3.8 Flash High 64.8
Fable 5.1 Max 62.8
GLM 5.3 Flash 320B 59.0
Leading revision site 30.2

Out of all of these models revise4 and revise5 Generate are the only models that are completely free. Kinda brutal. To soften the blow, revise5 Generate isn't solving any Millennium problems, those will have to wait until revise6.

revise5 is also quick. Quick at generating and quick at marking. On average to generate 8 questions, it took our testing 5.91s. That's 6.47x faster than revise3.

revise5 is bigger too. The model itself is almost double the size of the model we used for revise4, and the training data has expanded vastly too.

revise5 has also made the entire site prettier. Every single page is hand designed, on Figma, on pieces of paper when I should've been my doing homework, on the back of receipts. The site has been revised (see what I did there) from the ground up, and if you don't like it, you can change it. You can change revise2's iconic blue to any colour of your choosing, my personal favourite is the bubblegum pink.

All these upgrades are for completely free. All users can use revise5 Generate and Mark with zero limit, and zero payment. Pro users will enjoy priority queues, unlimited revise5 Learn calls, and unlimited revise5 Mark calls with feedback.

The submodel has also taken a different stance. revise2 is still learning about you as you progress, but now even more intelligently than ever. revise5 can detect small trends and their rise and fall over time over multiple subjects, and will also tailor your revision's difficulty and structure to what helps you reach the optimal state of Flow. revise2 on it's own provides a bigger grade boost than any revision platform, but the submodel fundamentally changes the game. It's unfair to everyone else, other revision sites, teachers, to compete with something that learns and adapts to every single question you answer, and then applies that to every material you generate. The submodel provides the biggest increases in grade possible, and quicker than anything that's ever existed before it.

revise5 isn't done yet though. We're working with teachers to make a Teacher platform that's completely free. Zero payment for student, or school. We've also partnered with a big, undisclosed, company and began releasing API access, and soon we will make our API public access, for you to mark, generate and create on your own, and for other exam boards to use too. There is a CLI coming out to eliminate any and every possible distraction, and enjoy the speed of the terminal, and a mobile and desktop app, all three of these with Discord rich presence.

We're also hiring. Visit revise2.com/hiring for more information. We're hiring for 3 roles, a software engineer, creative director and a social media manager. Email akash@revise2.com if you think you're ready to join the team.

This was written entirely by Akash, and as a word of warning, other writers have began writing some of our blog posts. If a post is written by me, in future, it will be obvious that it is me, or explicitly stated.

Server Upgrade

We've faced a bit of difficulty keeping up with user growth and we apologize for downtime. We've upgraded the servers to improve reliability for everyone.

The new server is now 6x the server size of the original revise2. We've come a pretty long way, and there's much longer to go.

revise2 gets its biggest update

I don't have much to say about this one (I think it speaks for itself) other than this has been nearly a month of straight work from me and the team, getting everything to work. I hope you like it.

To clear up some misconceptions, revise2 is not now paid only, it still remains free, and free users can generate and mark unlimited questions.
